BadassBox 4 Specialized-Set for Levo and Levo SL 2019-2022, Creo SL and Kenevo 2020-2022, Kenovo SL, Tero

The contactless and wireless badassBox transmits a modified speed signal in order to override the speed limit of your e-bike – without interfering with the motor's electronic circuitry or software. There's no need to open the motor and there is no risk of damaging it, the BadassBox can be fitted or removed in seconds.

E-Bike tuning for the Turbo Levo und Turbo Levo SL 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, Turbo Creo SL, Turbo Kenevo 2020, 2021, 2022, Turbo Kenovo SL and Turbo Tero by Specialized with new sensor in the dropout.

This tuning kit is made to fit Specialized bikes with the Turbo Levo speed sensor integrated into dropout, using a magnet in the brake disc (picture below).



If you see that your speed sensor is mounted on the chain stay and uses a spoke magnet, or if you have a different speed sensor, then you need an alternative badassBox 4 Specialized-Set

The assembly requires a small conversion. Please read the instructions before ordering!

The delivery includes the following parts:
- one badassBox 4 Brose
- one badassBox 4 housing cover
- one AAA battery
- one spoke magnet with thumb screw
- one Turbo Levo 2019 Adapter
- four cable ties

The integrated sensor is located in the area of the dropout. To get to the sensor you have to remove the rear wheel.



Unscrew the screws of the bracket that secures the sensor to the dropout.



Remove the bracket from the sensor.



Slide the pin-shaped sensor into the adapter so that only the cable extends out and the snap closes flush with the surface of the adapter. (In the photo on the right, the sensor is not yet fully inserted).



Attach the adapter to the frame of your bike with the supplied cable ties. Push the badassBox onto the adapter until it locks into place. The badassBox is then upside down (which does not affect the function).



Make sure that the sensor cable is securely fastened and cannot reach the brake disc under any circumstances. Reinstall the rear wheel of your bike.



Mount the spoke magnet and align it with the edge of the badassBox housing. That's it. Have fun with your faster e-bike!

In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall the tuning kit from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall tuning kit back. Product's warranty does not cover eBike software updates. We recommend to contact us before updating the software.
