This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula: \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\nSpeed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth \/ Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min\/h] \/ 1.000.000 [mm\/km]\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\nThe tuning kit can be activated directly from the mobile application or on your e-bike’s display. After pressing the LIGHT button or ↑↓↑↓, a value of 9.9 km\/h (6.2 mph) is displayed and from now on you will be able to ride at an unlimited speed. For displays that do not show decimal numbers, the value of 9 km\/h will be displayed.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nTo deactivate the tuning kit, press the LIGHT button or ↑↓↑↓ again. The value of 2.5 km\/h (1.6 mph) will appear on your display and the speed limit will reset to 25 km\/h. Your e-bike will then work the same as before installation of the chip. For displays that do not show decimal numbers, the value of 2 km\/h will be displayed.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nA new feature in this SpeedBox version is the possibility of activating the double-click function in the app. By activating this function, the lights become independent of tuning. By double-clicking on the LIGHT button, the lights will flash, and the tuning will turn on. If you double-click on the button again, the tuning will turn off and the e-bike will work the same as without a chip. \n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nSpeedBox was also designed for e-bikes that do not have a classic control unit. In this case you can just use the combination of ↑↓↑↓ buttons and SpeedBox will be activated. You can easily deactivate SpeedBox in the same way.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nYou can set the maximum speed of an electric assistance by changing modes three levels down and then three levels up. An actual speed limit will be displayed after that. The maximum speed of an electric assistance can be switched (always rounded up by 5 km\/h) by pressing LIGHT button shortly or by turning the rear wheel 360°.
