Speedbox 3.0 Flyon TQ

A smart chip of the third generation for Haibike FLYON model line.

SpeedBox 3.0 tuning chip enables to select speed limit of your own choice. After the chip is installed, your e-bike’s display will show real data, such as maximum and average speeds, daily mileage and cruising range.

Note: The Speedbox App is an application specially designed for Speedbox B. Tuning products only. With a non-Bluetooth Speedbox product like this one, the Speedbox App is unavailable.

Speedbox Flyon TQ b.tuning

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

The tuning kit can be activated via the e-bike‘s control unit. To activate or deactivate tuning, use the → ← → ← button sequence in order to switch between two assistance modes twice. The actual speed limit will briefly appear on your display and the motor will support you up to this speed.

To deactivate the tuning kit, use the → ← → ← button sequence again. The value of cadence of 16 rpm (25 rpm) will appear on your display and the speed limit will reset to 16mph (25 km/h). Your e-bike will then work the same as before installation of the chip.

You can set the maximum speed of an electric assistance by changing the following modes gradually: EXTREME - HIGH - MID - LOW - MID - HIGH - EXTREME. An actual speed limit will be displayed after that. The maximum speed of an electric assistance can be switched by turning the rear wheel about 180°.
The cadence of 9 rpm (15 rpm) on the display corresponds with the limit of 9 mph (15 km/h),
13 rpm (20 rpm) corresponds with the limit of 13 mph (20 km/h),
16rpm (25 rpm) corresponds with 16 mph (25 km/h),
18 rmp (30 rpm) corresponds with 18 mph (30 km/h),
62 rpm (99 rpm) corresponds with 62 mph (99 km/h) etc.

The last displayed limit will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

This tuning kit is compatible with all eBikes with Flyon TQ HPR120S motor.

In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall SpeedBox.

You can choose Speedbox 3.0 Flyon TQ B. Tuning model too.

We use original connectors for the production of SpeedBox chips ensuring that the installation process is very simple and the chip is connected properly. We have also prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of the tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 0.6 miles (1 km) before the chip is activated.
