The 15T front sprocket sits on the gearbox output and drives the chain back to the rear wheel. It is one tooth larger than the 14T the Varg MX is delivered with, so against the same rear sprocket it gives longer gearing - useful where the standard 14/47 runs out on fast, open ground.
