Main Product Information
SpeedBox 3.2 for Brose removes the 25 km/h speed limit of e-bikes with the Brose S-Mag Pro FIT motor, so riding feels more natural and you can enjoy unlimited speed. After installing the chip, the e-bike display shows real data such as maximum or average speed, daily distance, and range.
Note: The Speedbox App is an application specially designed for Speedbox B. Tuning products only. With a non-Bluetooth Speedbox product like this one, the Speedbox App is unavailable.
The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:
Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]
You activate the tuning by double-pressing the LIGHT button or using the button combination + - + -. The value 5 km/h will briefly appear on the display, indicating that the tuning is active.
You deactivate the tuning in the same way. The value 2 km/h will appear on the display and the e-bike will then work the same as before installing the tuning.
You can change the maximum assist speed by switching the controller to AUTO mode and then switching three levels down and three levels up (STD - ECO - OFF - ECO - STD - AUTO). Each double-press of the LIGHT button increases the maximum assist speed by 5 km/h. The display does not show decimals, so a value of 3 corresponds to a limit of 30 km/h, 4 to 40 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit will be saved after five seconds of inactivity.
