E-Bike E-MTB Tuning Kit PearTune MSO 4.0 for TQHPR50 motor

This Peartune tuning kit removes the 16mph (25km/h) speed limit, allowing the motor to help you at higher speeds. With the speed limit removed, 28-37mph (~45-60km/h) can be expected, depending on the bicycle and gearing.

All readings like actual speed, max speed, average speed, distance etc. are correctly displayed.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

Tuning kit is already active once installed. If you have + and - buttons on your eBike - tuning kit can deactivated and activated again by selecting the highest level of assistance and pressing - + - + buttons.

The PearTune MSO 4.0 can be activated or deactivated anytime during the ride by short-pressing the LIGHT/WALK button or [+ -] buttons. Original function of these buttons remains unchanged. After activating PearTune - you will be able to ride at a speed of 25 mph (40 km/h), 31 mph (50 km/h) and even more than 37 mph (60 km/h)!

This Peartune tuning kit is made to fit bicycles with mid-drive TQHPR50 motors, for example. Not Compatible with TQ motors.

Connect the display connector from PearTune underneath the display, aligning it with the connectors leading from the display unit. Inside the frame, route the PearTune connector along with the second pair of connectors, which are the long speed sensor cables. Thread them through the frame to the motor, and then connect them to the speed sensor. It's a straightforward process; all four connectors are original, have locking mechanisms, and there are no other connectors on the bike that could cause any confusion for you.
