After pairing with the SpeedBox App mobile application, you will see real riding data on your phone’s display. You may also set the speed limit of your own choice. Monitor and store all the parameters of your trip on the display of your phone in any place, anytime.

The tuning chip SpeedBox 1.2 enables you to suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. When in use, the actual speed will appear on your display up to 14mph (23 km/h). Then the actual values are only displayed in the SpeedBox App

Compared to previous versions, this new product also plugs into the engine's E-Tube port. It is therefore necessary that the e-bike motor in which you are going to install the new version of SpeedBox for Shimano has one free E-Tube port. In case you do not have a free E-Tube port in the motor, please select “+E-Tube Port” variant.

E-bikes, which do not have a free E-Tube port, are usually those with a Di2 electronic gear shifting system, with a tube integrated Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300), or all e-bikes with E5000 motor.

This tuning chip is also very easy to control. If the lights are turned off, SpeedBox is activated. The chip can be easily deactivated by turning on the lights. A new feature in this SpeedBox version is the possibility of activating the double-click function in the app (only for displays that have a LIGHT button - E5003, E5000, E6010, E6100). By activating this function, the lights become independent of tuning. By double-clicking on the LIGHT button, the lights will flash, and the tuning will turn on. If you double-click on the button again, the tuning will turn off and the e-bike will work the same as without a chip.

You can set the maximum speed limit in the app.

This tuning kit is compatible with all eBikes with Shimano E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000 motors.

The "+ E-Tube port" variant is intended for e-bikes without a free E-Tube port - usually e-bikes with one of these components:
- motor E5000
- Satellite System ON/ OFF Switch
- Di2 (electronic gear shifting system)

In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall SpeedBox.

You can choose the regular Speedbox Shimano 1.2 tuning kit.

For the latest Shimano EP8 motor, you would need Speedbox Shimano EP8 1.3 tuning kit.

We use original connectors for the production of SpeedBox chips ensuring that the installation process is very simple and the chip is connected properly. We have also prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of the tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.

In case of updating the software of your e-bike, uninstall the tuning kit from the e-bike first, update the software and reinstall tuning kit back. Product's warranty does not cover eBike software updates. We recommend to contact us before updating the software.

SpeedBox App specifically designed for SpeedBox B.Tuning uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your mobile phone. After downloading the application and connecting your phone to your electric bike, you can track the current data and riding parameters on your phone. You can save your trips, compare them with friends and monitor your own performance, so just enjoy the ride to the fullest and leave checking the parameters for later!

Most sport apps use only rough estimates of values. That’s why these data may differ from the real electric bike data by up to 20%. SpeedBox App displays completely accurate data, which is read directly from the electric bike's control unit.
