The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:
Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]
This tuning chip is also very easy to control.
Activate/deactivate the tuning before the ride (when the e-bike is standing still), not during riding!
Activation: one short press of WALK button or + - + - or - + - + (sequence requires to press it all quickly)
Indication: 3.5 kph (2.2 mph) on your display = SpeedBox activated
After the activation you can reach maximum speed - 22 mph (35 km/h). Indication of tuning activation 2.2 mph (3.5 km/h). However we recommend not to exceed 35 km/h.

To deactivate the tuning kit, press the WALK / + - + - buttons again. Your e-bike display will show a value of 2.2 mph (3.5 km/h) and the speed limit will be reset to 16mph (25 km/h). Your e-bike will then work the same as before the chip installation.
After finishing the ride, leave the e-bike on for a while until SpeedBox finishes the "countdown" process (the ride time will continue on the display until it stops and shows the correct distance traveled) to prevent tuning detection on your e-bike. Do not remove the display to lock the e-bike until SpeedBox finishes the "countdown" process.
Please disable automatic updates in the eBike Flow App. And do not us flow app together with tuning kit.
